IMG_8505Prima, an elegant spot for two-for-one oysters and cocktails, has closed. The seafood spot on East First Street shucked its last one over the weekend, according to a sign in the window that says, “We will miss serving all of our incredible guests. We will miss this amazing location. We just weren’t busy enough.”

New York described the cafe/restaurant hybrid, which opened in 2011 with a food menu by Motorino’s Mathieu Palombino and a coffee program by Ninth Street Espresso’s Ken Nye, as “the kind of neighborhood gem you hope nobody hears about, so you can keep it your little secret.” Careful what you wish for!

Prima’s website directs would-be patrons to the establishment’s sister spot, Summit Bar.
