Funny we were just talking about The Brooklyneer. Turns out, the team that opened the Houston Street restaurant in 2009 with the intention of featuring Brooklyn purveyors in Manhattan have been planning an offshoot “gastropub” just a few blocks away, and it opens after a private party tonight.
