We’re happy to report that one of the vendors at our Bedford + Bowery Bazaar is opening a brick-and-mortar shop: Petee’s Pie Company, a Hester Street Fair fixture, is bringing its scrumptious pies to the former Rocket Joe’s space on Delancey Street just in time for Thanksgiving.

Owner Petra “Petee” Paredez learned her craft at Mom’s Apple Pie Company — a name which, in her case, isn’t just a cutesy affectation. Her parents actually own the bakery in Leesburg, Virginia.
