The city is awash in purple as New Yorkers mourn the death of yet another music legend this year. Last night, cries of “Purple Rain” and “Little Red Corvette” reverberated around our neighborhoods as people danced into the wee hours.
Back in July we predicted that Lucky Bee was going to generate some serious “buzz” (heh). Six months later, we can confirm that the interior decor alone will definitely get people talking when it opens next Thursday (and, I’d wager, Dev and crew visiting in the next installation of Master of None).
Talk about buzzy openings. The Lucky Bee, a Southeast Asian “electric tropical paradise,” is slated to bring its spicy, sustainable street food to 252 Broome Street, and owners Rupert Noffs and Matty Bennett love honey so much they’re bringing their own bees.
