Summer Street Theater Tour – Sanitation

As part of Theater for the New City’s Summer Street Theater Tour, which has been bringing free outdoor theater to low-income communities since the 1970s, any passersby can walk into St. Mark’s Church to see “Sanitation,” the eco-friendly musical about three Lower East Side sanitation workers who scrounge together their savings to take a cruise to the Caribbean, only to get sidetracked by Hurricane Sandy.
