Oysters 101 at 3rd Ward

“Oysters 101 is your introduction to this fascinating and delicious bivalve. Attendees will learn about oyster anatomy and history, sustainable oyster farming, differences in species, classic garnishes and accompaniments, wine and beer pairings and East Coast vs. West Coast oysters. Each participant will get to taste 3 different types of oysters as well as five different beverage pairings. Oh, and you’ll also learn how to shuck ‘em like a pro! Oysters 101 is taught by Vinicius Campos, Head Chef of Fitzcarraldo.  Vinicius previously worked at the Oyster House, a Philadelphia institution that has been in business in its Sansom St. location for over 60 years.”–3rd Ward
