Mona's Monday Night Bluegrass

After just three years, this weekly jamboree led by guitarist Rick Snell has become an East Village tradition. Some of the city’s finest musicians drop in to play bluegrass, Texas swing, sea shanties, Irish trad, early jazz, civil war songs and more. Consider it the antidote to Mumford & Sons, and join in if you know your way around a mandolin or banjo.
