It was a whirlwind weekend at the second-annual NYC Porn Film Festival. Who knew that getting slapped across the eyes with a regular throng of weens; being inundated with sauce shots, endless bumpin n’ grindin, butt pirates, fet fun, furries; and having to contend with a tarted-up unicorn who happened to have a passion for, well, piss could be so exhausting? It was almost as if we were the ones doing all the porking.

Coming your way faster than you can say “wayward seed deluge,” it’s the second iteration of what’s indisputably the artiest smut fest the world over. The NYC Porn Film Festival is returning June 4 and 5), uniting an actually-smart postmodern exploration of porn with an earnest, non-binary, non-heteronormative, super sex-posi celebration of sex on film.

This year, the organizers say they’re once again dedicated to “exploring human sexuality through art, audience participation, parties, live performance, film, virtual reality, and sex technology.” Even if it’s highly unlikely that we’ll be seeing Miley Cyrus on the bill again this year, there will be plenty else to set fire to your loins.

Queer Porn Film Festival Brings Porn, Pancakes, and ‘Meaning Beyond Getting Off’

The first-ever NYC Queer Porn Film Festival (QPFF) is coming to the Spectrum in Bushwick this Sunday, hot on the heels of February’s NYC Porn Film Festival, which was also held in Bushwick. Festival passes have sold out online, but pre-sales to individual events are still available and tickets will be sold at the door.

Frustration with various aspects of the NYC Porn Film Fest worked as a catalyst for queer pornographers Tobi Hill-Meyer, Jacqueline Mary and Courtney Trouble to come together and plan something they’d already been thinking about for years.
