A ‘Not Wimpy’ Vegetarian Spot Is Popping Up, With Plans to Settle Down

photo-41Those of you who eat exclusively “vegetable-based” food may have already heard of Young’s, the veggie enthusiasts best known for their stand at the Hester Street Fair. On March 6 and 7, the meatless masters will be hosting a pop-up restaurant at The Old Bowery Station in which guests can enjoy four courses of vegetarian fare with the option of beer or cocktail pairings. “All our food is made with alcohol in mind. That’s how we really win people over,” says chef and co-founder Jessica Young.
