Sincerely Burger Sincerely Wants You to Order This $99 Five-Pound Burger

Apparently Sincerely Burger doesn’t believe that you have to be the Jolly Green Giant, Paul Bunyon, or Giganta (the only not-horribly-creepy female giant character I could find) in order to consume a five-pound cheeseburger in its entirety whilst glugging down a half-gallon milkshake. Nay– you just have to be brave. And have $99 to spare.

Dear Bushwick Meets Its End in Sincerely Burger

For a moment, it might have seemed like Dear Bushwick, the Michelin-recognized “English country kitchen and bar,” had gone by the wayside. Julian Mohamed, who ran the place with Darren Grenia, told us the restaurant was closed for about two weeks. But with the expansion of the duo’s Bushwick empire to include Yours Sincerely– a new cocktail bar with on-draft potables and, briefly, its very own resident tax attorney– a Dear Bushwick closing seemed unlikely. Yesterday we received an email from the restaurant, clearly sent out to silence some of the whispers. “You may or may not have heard some rumors, regardless we haven’t closed,” Mohamed wrote. “But we have changed things up… a lot.”

Open Wide! Here’s What You’ll Be Eating at Taste of Bushwick

ToB_STD_2015If you can eat and drink your way through $40 like it’s nothing (guilty!) and you like surrounding yourself with lushes of a similar persuasion (uh, people who won’t judge you for being “disgusting–” pshh) then it’s probably not a bad idea to get tickets to the 2nd annual Taste of Bushwick, an annual food fest to benefit local theater and dance venue, the Bushwick Starr. According to the #TBT photos, everyone was smiling at last year’s incarnation so, indisputably, things went well. And if you thought there were enough great restaurants participating last year to sink a ship, then whoa buddy check out the lineup this time around and try not to drool.
