Last week we shared some details of the summer offerings at Sunset Park’s Industry City – including mini-golf, ping-pong, and a satellite eatery of the Frying Pan, the wildly popular floating restaurant at Pier 66 Maritime in Chelsea.
We’ve obtained some photos of the revamped space as well as a copy of the planned menu of the Wheelhouse, the Frying Pan’s spinoff seafood bar – so named because it’s built around the wheelhouse of an old tugboat.
Pricing for the ping pong and “Brooklyn-themed” nine-hole miniature golf course hasn’t been announced yet, though “handhelds” at the Wheelhouse will run $12 to $20.
The Wheelhouse probably won’t lack for eager customers, however – with three varieties of lobster roll and two varieties of seafood bahn mi. Visitors can also wash down their bahn mi with a selection of cocktails in the $10 to $12 range.
Programming at Industry City this summer will include film screenings by Rooftop Films and concerts managed by Brooklyn Bowl, plus cooking classes by The Brooklyn Kitchen.
Here’s a look at The Wheelhouse’s menu.
