Back in October, we had the idea for New York City’s first cat cafe. We’re not saying Purina stole that idea (that would be catty!) but if they did, it was genius: because 15 minutes after their pop-up cat cafe started serving cat’achinos at Kenmare and Bowery it was at capacity, with a line of over 70 people around the block. There were, of course, also photographers, including one from the Daily News. And bouncers for crowd control. Have a look at our slideshow above, and check back here for updates. With excitement (and disdain) building on twitter, this could get hairy.
